Singer - K.G.Ranjith
Lyrics - Kabilan
This was NGK's first single track to get released and it is a good folk song from Yuvan Shankar Raja that voices out various issues prevalent in the society like casteism, westernization, and more. The percussion offers the song the extra punch it needs to make it hard hitting. The song has a rousing feeling attached, which makes it addictive. Yuvan is also cautious enough to not make the song sound monotonous. KG Ranjith's voice and the usage of electronic music adds variety to the number.

Lyrics - Vignesh ShivN
Thimiranumda looks like a companion track to Thandalkaaran. If Thandalkaaran highlighted the problems in society, Thimiranumda is one that inspires you to stand up against that. Its success is heavily dependent on Vignesh ShivN's lyrics. The sounding of the song reminds you of Enga Area song from Pudhupettai, which also saw the Selva-Yuvan combo unite. If Enga Area was an impulsive number from Yuvan, this one takes a different course to be a slow, thumping, and well-thought.
Anbae Peranbae

Singers - Sid Sriram, Shreya Ghoshal
Lyrics - Uma Devi
This song starts as a melody that is carried by the quality of the vocalists - Shreya Ghosal and Sid Sriram, the recent favourite of many currently, but the song is not just about them. Yuvan begins to charm us with the violin interlude, that has a soothing effect on us. Like her previous romantic songs, Umadevi strikes gold with the lyrics. A well-orchestrated melody from Yuvan, that will stay in your playlists for a long time.

Singer - Sivam
Lyrics - Selvaraghavan
Just when you think that the album lacks a fiery number that most Selva film albums have, Yuvan gifts us with Pothachaalum. There are minimal words, but it is compensated well by Yuvan's music that sends you to a psychedelic trance midway through. This is also the pick of the album, despite its short length. This song is an answer to - "What happens when Yuvan and Selva decide to become reckless?"
Verdict: Yuvan delivers a striking album for Suriya and Selva's grand NGK!
